3. VISIBLE QUALITY SPECIFICATION
3.1 CRACKS:
Tubing is defective if there is a crack.
3.2 AIRLINES:
Testing by vernier caliper of 0.02mm, airlines up to 0.10mm in width on ampoule tubing are not acceptable. Airlines up to 0.20mm in width on injection vial tubing and oral liquid vial tubing are not acceptable
3.3 KNOTS AND STONES:
Tubing is defective when there are one or more knots or stones with dimension superior to 1 mm.
3.4 SLANDED CUT & END FINISHING
A) For standard applications tubing is trimmed and heavily glazed for a better protection.
B) If the first part of tubing must be used in a conversion process light glazing can be supplied.
4. PACKAGE AND STORAGE:
Glass tubes are layered into bundles with a square or rectangular cross-section. They are packed into the geometrically tightest space and then covered at each end with transparent shrink film. Then they are packed into carton. This means that no movement of the tubing is possible during transportation, so that the package is more stable and reliable. The shrink films at each end of the bundle cover each tube and provide the very best protection against contamination.
We own a three-dimensional warehouse. The clean environment and the strict administration of the storages guarantee the quality of the products. All products should not stored in warehouse for more than 6 months.
